Cancellation Policy for Treks

Case A: If the trek is canceled by Trek20

(1) In case of a trek being canceled by Trek20 due to unforeseen situations like national or state-level strikes, natural disasters, for example, landslides, heavy rainfall, road blocks, etc., we will issue a provide a trek coupon wherein you can avail for the same trek or a different one from our list of offerings, which will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. 

In case you want to book for a different trek, the amount paid by you will be deducted and the surplus amount will have to be paid by you if the charges of the new chosen trek is greater than the cancelled trek, and the differential amount will be refunded to you, in case the charges of the new chosen trek is less than the charges of the booked trek.

(2) In case a particular trek has a booking of 3 or fewer members and the trek is canceled due to fewer registrations, the customer will get 100% refund along with a discount coupon of 10% that will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.

Case B: If the trek is canceled by the customer

(1) Before 45 days of the booking date – 100% of the total trek charges will be refunded by us.

(2) Between 30 and 45 days of the booking date – 75% of the total trek charges will be refunded by us.

(3) Between 15 and 30 days of the booking date – 50% of the total trek charges will be refunded by us.

(4) Between 1 and 15 days of the booking date – Zero refund.

 

Cancellation Policy for Tours

Case A: If the tour is canceled by Trek

(1) In case of a trek being canceled by Trek20 due to unforeseen situations like national or state-level strikes, natural disasters, for example, landslides, heavy rainfall, road blocks, etc., we will issue a provide a trek coupon wherein you can avail for the same location at a later available date or a different one from our list of packages, which will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.

In case you want to book for a different location, the amount paid by you will be deducted and the surplus amount will have to be paid by you if the charges of the new chosen location is greater than the cancelled location, and the differential amount will be refunded to you, in case the charges of the new chosen location is less than the charges of the booked location.

Case B: If the Tour is canceled by the customer

(1) Before 60 days of the booking date – 50% of the total trek charges will be refunded by us.

(2) Between 30 and 60 days of the booking date – 30% of the total trek charges will be refunded by us.

(3) Between 0 and 30 days of the booking date – Zero refund.

Transfer of booking to a friend

(1) Your reservation can be transferred to a friend at any time. But he/she has to complete all formalities before the commencement of the tour/trek. 

(2) However, this does not apply to any booking made on any public transport that was initially booked for the original participant. In such a case, a fresh booking has to be done for the new participant.

Refunds are initiated as soon as all formalities are completed. The funds shall be transferred to the respective bank account within 7–14 working days of the initiation of the refund. In case of any issues contact us at accounts@trek20.com
